My Story

Amélie Nolen

I was born and raised in Paris, France and came to the U.S. in 2011 to go to college. I met my husband there and we are now raising an amazing little boy and our two dogs.

My mom and grandma used to take me to all the museums, expositions, plays, etc. They made me fall in love with art. I started to paint and sculpt when I was 10. My love for art never faded as life became busy. I consider each and every bouquet/arrangement a unique piece of art, and pour my heart in every creation.

When selecting vendors for weddings, we typically hear to invest in a good photographer since pictures are the only things you will have after your wedding day. This doesn't have to be true! With wood flowers not wilting, you can keep your bouquet as long as you wish! They are the perfect token of your love, or gift for the bridal party/family.

I also love wood flowers for home decor because they bring light and a touch of color in your house without having to worry about them dying in a couple days.

How it Started

While I was in college, a friend of mine showed me a wood flower bouquet she received at a wedding. I was stunned by how beautiful and natural the flowers looked! I decided to look into Sola flowers more and started crafting with them.

In 2018, my brother-in-law proposed to his girlfriend. As a wedding gift, I offered to make their flower arrangements. Everyone at the wedding loved the flowers and my new sister-in-law told me I should really start my business! I decided to follow her advice, but to take it slow since I was expecting at the time. Since then, Forever Flowers Kansas CIty, LLC keeps growing! I cannot wait to see where it will take me and my family.
